Autumn in my Heart Episode 8

So...the running away was kind of sudden. There was almost no flow into it, they suddenly just decided to leave. Also, what was really the point of it? Surely they knew that someone would find them. Thanks Shin-as for making this possible.           I felt really bad for Tae-Suk, but not as much for Yumi. I really just don't like how she's so whiny and pitiful (see last post for more of what I think about that).            Hopefully, somethin will change soon! See you!                              -Megan

Autumn in my Heart Episode 8

Wow, Shin-Ae is still a huge jerk! She's basically still the same as she was when they were kids: a brat. She's so whiny and acts like a baby all the time. What's it to her if Eun-Suh joins the family? Everything will basically still be the same. The only thing Shin-Ae would be losing is a little attention.       I'm also a little annoyed with how much Yumi cries. She just needs to suck it up and deal with her problems! Either accept the situation, or fight for your man. Don't just sit there and be pitiful.        This show will hopefully get a lot more interesting now that they've finally confessed their love. Hopefully, the action will pick up a little bit!         Well, see you next time!                                      Megan

Autumn in my Heart Episode 7

So I watched basically all of Kill me, Heal me this week, and that's why I haven't watched any more of this show recently. Just thought you should know that.         I'm really wanting the plot to progress faster in this show. It feels like it's taking forever for anything to happen! Eun-Suh and Joon-Suh obviously want each other, but they keep thinking that both of them just want to be siblings. On top of that, all of their friends have no idea what's going on, so they just need to all admit their feelings already and get it over with. Hopefully we'll get some more action soon!                                     Megan

Autumn in my Heart Episode 6

Oh boy, Shin-are is back. I knew we hadn't seen the last of her when she left for America. I really don't like her; she is so evil! She acts all nice to Eun-suh, but really she is still the same brat she was before the family left. She also tried to keep Eun-suh from her mom! I think that's the most evil thing she did.          I feel a little bad about Yumi, but really, Joon-suh didn't ever really love her. I don't understand why she's trying to hold on to him so much. It seemed like she didn't even really love him either for a while, then suddenly, she wants to get married to him right away. It is sad though that he's not paying her any attention and not caring about her illness.          I can feel some real drama coming up from Eun-Suh and Tae-Suk dating! Joon-Suh will probably have something to say about it. I also have a feeling that the mom will not have as hard of a time as everyone thinks. At least, I...

Full House Episode 3

This show just keeps getting better and better! The chemistry (chemistry with disliking each other?) between the leads is amazing. It's going to be great when they actually start liking each other.           I thought the whole marriage contract was sad/funny. Everyone except the two lead think it's real, and they can't tell anyone about it! I'm sure someone will figure it out soon, since they don't act like a couple at all. I'm actually surprised that no one HAS noticed, but then again, it IS a TV show.           I think the characters have really changed too, just in two episodes. I'm the first one, they seemed more over the top and crazy; now they just seem like more regular people. On a side note, do you notice how they keep dressing Hye Won in the skimpiest outfits ever. Aahh, early 2000s style.          So I think I'm going to cut down to one drama at a time now. I think tha...

My Girl Episode 1

I really like this drama! There's no animosity between the leads right now, which is awesome. Gong Chan isn't mean, or rude, even though I have a feeling that he has a scarred past. Too Rin is slightly annoying, but she isn't as forceful for money like some of the other shows I'm watching right now.            I really like seeing Lee Dong-Wook in another role besides his one in Wild Romance. It's a little weird to see him acting more gentle and nicer, but I kind of like it better. He seems so much younger too! (Of course, this show did air 11 years ago)            That's all for now! See you tomorrow for Full House Episode 3!                              Megan

Sang-Doo, Let's go to School! Episode 3

Even though I haven't gotten to watch this drama very much, I really like it! Rain is such a good actor, I don't know why I didn't discover him sooner!          This episode was so-so at the beginning, but it is hilarious at the end. It's funny how Sang-Doo is the honorable guy and gets the ajummma to change Eun-Wan's clothes and even washes them for her. It's going to be very interesting to see how she reacts in the next episode.          I feel like the truth about Bori's mom is going to come out very soon. Also, for some reason, it feels like Eun-Wan's boyfriend and Bori's mom know each other. They may not, but that's just a feelling I have. Guess we'll see soon.          Well, that's all for today! See you tomorrow for My Girl Episode 1!                          Megan

Autumn in My Heart Episode 5

This show just keeps getting better and better! It's not on the same level as dramas nowdays, but I like it a lot. The story is finally picking up. Now there are some almost love triangles (or even love squares) and feelings are about to come out. Shine-ae's back, so this should be interesting to see if she goes along with the cousins claim, or if she reveals the truth.            It's really funny to be watching two dramas right now with Song Seung-Hun. She's so serious in this show, and so crazy in Full House! She doesn't even look like the same person. I guess that shows how a different hair style can drastically change the way a person looks!         Hopefully tomorrow I'll get to watch Sang-Doo Let's Go to School, but school starts back tomorrow , so I'm not sure. See you next time!                                 Megan ...

Beethoven Virus Episode 1

Hope everyone had a great Easter! I actually watched this episode yesterday, and totally forgot to post since it was Easter Sunday.           In my opinion, this was kind of a boring first episode. There really was not that much going on; really the only thing was that they were trying to find people for their orchestra. Also, I am a bit confused as to who is the male lead. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be Jang Geun-Suk's character, or the conductor.           The female lead is kind of annoying at first, but then she kind of grows on you   When she was about to "commit suicide" I thought it was a little ridiculous, but then she turned around and worked really hard to get people in her orchestra, so that saved her character.            Hopefully this will get more interesting as the show goes on. My aunt recommended it to me, so I guess it has to be pretty good! ...

My Lovely Sam-Soon Episodes 2 and 3

I didn't post about episode two last week, so I'll do two and three together.                     I have to say, these two episodes were much better than the first one. Sam-Soon is a lot less annoying, and much funnier. The way that she and "Sam-Shik" interact is so funny. I feel like Jin-Heon likes Sam-Soon deep down, because of the way he smiles at her. Maybe he just looks like he's smiling sweetly, when it's actually a smirk. The dating contract seems like it is going to set up many hilarious situations. It should get interesting to see which one of them comes close to breaking the contract first! I bet Sam-Soon is going to fall for Jin-Heon first, just because he already said "you would never fall for me".              I thought at first that Hee-Jin and Sam-So...

Full House Episode 2

So sorry about not posting. I really haven't watched any dramas this week, just animes.          I really liked this episode better than the last one. Ji Eun was WAY less annoying, and more normal. Young Jay was being cute too, because you can already see him warming up to her, even though he really doesn't show it yet.          The ending was slightly confusing. I can't tell if he's trying to make Hye Won jealous, or protect her. I guess I'll see in the next episode.           See you tomorrow for My Lovely Sam Soon!                   Megan

Autumn in My Heart Episode 4

This episode was really just a "we keep passing by each other and not seeing each other" cliche. I think this episode was much better than the last one mostly because it made more sense. After the big time jump at the end of the last episode, this one wasn't as confusing. I'm really liking these actors so far! They are kind of cheesy, but of course, this show IS from 2000. It's kind of weird seeing the same actress in two different shoes acting completely different. In this show, Song Seung-hyun is a gentle quiet-ish girl, and in Full House (at least from what I've seen so far) she is a loud slightly annoying girl. This should be interesting to compare the two as I watch them!       I'm going in spring break soon, so hopefully I can keep up with posting them! See you tomorrow for Sang-Doo let's go to School Episode 3!                                Megan

Full House and My Lovely Sam-Soon Episode 1

I'm going to talk about two different shows in this episode since I forgot last week.      I felt like in both shows, the girls were kind of annoying before the guys came in. I felt kind of bad that Sam Soon got dumped, and Han Ji-Eun lost her house and got stuck, but the comic relief didn't start until the male leads came in.      I think it's so funny that I'm watching two dramas with Rain and two with Song Hye-Kyo! I'm watching Autumn in My heart right now, so I'll post when I'm finished!                       Megan

Autumn in My Heart Episode 3

Sorry for not posting last week, I was really busy and I did watch episode two, I just forgot to post about it.               Ok, I need to start off by saying Shin-ae is a HUGE jerk. First she forced Eun-suh to go live at her house, in her rightful place and basically kicked her out of the house. True, I guess Eun-suh didn't have to go live with her real mom, but Shin-ae didn't have to be so mean. She definitely deserved the slap she got from Joon-seo. Secondly, she said that Eun-suh stole her watch, which was EUN-SUH'S to begin with, and made Eun-suh look like a liar. Thank goodness for Joon-seo taking Eun-suh to the beach to cheer her up. What is sad is that Eun-suh didn't even know when they were leaving and "just missed" them. Ok, but who in real life would not see her running behind your car. Korean dramas, they just don't really use logi...

Sang Doo, Let's Go to School! Episode 2

These older dramas feel like the episodes are a lot shorter! Or maybe it's just that not a lot happens in them. I feel like there wasn't a whole lot that went on on this episode. Also, even though a lot of background is being shown for the first two episodes, it feels like there's still not enough.          I'm actually surprised that I like the show as much as I do. Up to this point, I've really only watched dramas from the past few years, and the earliest one was Vineyard Man (2006). I really wasn't sure if I would like something that old, that it would be boring, but so far, both early 2000s shows are pretty interesting! Cheezy, but interesting.           I only have four more episodes of Gu Family Book, so look forward to me posting three times a week soon! Until next Monday!                                       ...

Autumn in My Heart Episode 1

I take back what I said in the previous blog post, THIS is the earliest drama I have watched. This really reminded me of the videos we watched in my German class to learn new phrases, which was made in the nineties (I know, 2000 is the end of the nineties, so it shouldn't be that different).        I have mixed feelings already in the first episode. To start off, it is extremely cheesy, which really isn't a major problem because I was kind of expecting that, it being a early 2000s drama and all. THERE ARE SO MANY COINCIDENCES!!! I felt like I was laughing every few minutes at the things that just HAPPENED to happen. Another thing, the whole brother liking the sister thing is a little strange. We as the viewers know they are not related, but they didn't know it. I think it would be a little creepy if my brother just randomly told me he liked me. Other than these things, I have neigh hopes for this drama. I did see a spoiler though that said this wa...

Sang-Doo, Let's Go to School! Episode One

This is probably the earliest drama I've watched, and I have to say, it's pretty good! I have heard about how attractive Rain is, and they were right, he is adorable. It's pretty funny how he still looks just as good now!                 I watched Vineyard Man about a year ago, and that was the earliest drama I had watched (it was from 2006). It was pretty boring at first, so I was expecting this one to be the same, but I was pleasantly surprised. This was a very good first episode. Although very cheesy, (what drama isn't) it had all the emotions, and balanced very well between humor and seriousness. It even showed a lot of the backstory in the first episode, which isn't exactly normal. Isn't it funny how to make a person look younger, or look like they're in high school, they wear glasses? I think it's hilarious because they do it ev...

Anyoung!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited about starting this blog! Over the past year, I have become obsessed with K-Dramas, and thought maybe the best way to gush about feels and share what I think about different dramas! I probably won't post anything for a little while, until I start a new show. I've got four episodes left on two of them, so see you then!
